Some Of My Favorite DIY Beauty Recipies

I thought I’d share some of my best and most favorite Do It Yourself Beauty Recipies. These are recipies that I have tried and swear by! Please feel free to try them out and come back & leave a comment.

Thanks! & Enjoy!

Simple Home Spa Sugar Scrub:

1/2 cup sugar & Enough cold-pressed olive oil to just dampen the mixture (be careful not to add too much).

Gently massage this exfoliating scrub all over your body and face before you shower with a light soaping and rinse.  Repeat once or twice a month. You will glow and your skin will be soft and nicely exfoliated. It’s just THAT easy! *SMILE*

Simple Effective Oatmeal Facial Scrub
A stimulating, thoroughly cleansing 3-in-1 scrub!
Smooths, tones, and hydrates.

Optional: let your scrub double as a mask! Let it sit a few minutes before scrubbing and rinsing. Enjoy!

All Natural Deodorant
3 Tbsp shea butter, 3 Tbsp baking soda, 2 Tbsp corn starch, 2 Tbsp cocoa butter, 2 Vitamin E Oil Caps puncture & squeeze out oil

Melt all ingredients (except the oils) 30 secs in the microwave & give a good stir. Add oils, stir, pour in jar place in the fridge to set
This recipe will fill a 1/4 pint jar

Basic Salt Soak Bath Formula:
Minerals and salts make the bath water feel silky and leave your skin cleansed and soft.
1 cup sea salts, 2 cups baking soda, 1 cup Epsom salts, 1 to 2 tablespoons glycerin per bath.
Combine the sea salts, baking soda, and Epsom salts in a bowl. Stir to blend.

Pour 1/4 cup or so into the bath while the tub is filling. Add 1 to 2 tablespoons glycerin to keep your skin from drying out (more for dry skin, less for oily skin) and essential oils of choice. Preparation time: 2 to 3 minutes  Shelf life: Indefinite Storage: Glass jar with a screw top Caution: Do not take hot baths and salt baths (including Epsom salt baths) if you have heart trouble, high blood pressure, or are diabetic.

Super Simple Acne Treatment:

(No Windex Involved) *SMILEDecrease the size of a facial blemish and speed up the healing of a pimple.  Apply a tiny dot of toothpaste to the affected area at night before bed. Wash it off in the morning. Easy Peasy and Works Too!
