WOW! the temperatures sure have dropped in recent days for most of us huh? It feels wonderful! The dropping temps got me 
thinking that Fall and then winter are coming up fast. I take special care of my skin always, but especially during these seasons skin care is so important. Fall can be windy and damp and the Winter cold and freezing winds are certainly not good for beautiful skin. So I got to thinking about what I could share with you that is super simple and effective to help sustain your beautiful glow throughout these seasons.
I personally use my own formulations (available 09/01/2010) but in the meantime, I have some tips and advice to offer for great DIY skin care recipes.
First let me say, “Don’t forget your neck!” Most everyone takes great care of their face and or legs, hands etc.. but what about the parts and pieces in between!? Don’t they count? I’m sure if they could speak, they’d let you know how they felt about being left out. It wouldn’t be pretty for sure. So to make certain that ALL of you is well cared for. Do this ALL over. OK? OK… 🙂
Sugar Scrubs are easy and fun to make and leave your skin feeling soft and silky most of the day. Here’s a super simple scrub recipe to try. 
1/2 cup sugar (yes, the sugar in your cupboard that you put in your morning coffee)
Enough cold-pressed olive oil to just moisten the sugar. Be careful not to add too much or it will be runny – if you do, simply add more sugar and boo boo all fixed.
Gently massage this exfoliating scrub all over your face, neck, body and feet! It’s best to do this in the shower with the water off – after you are all scrubbed up, then turn the water on and rinse.
Do this before you shower with a light soaping and rinse. Use this scrub about 2 to 3 times a month and your skin will surely thank you!
