Well, whatever your schedule looks like, here are two more super easy and great gift ideas to make just in case you need ’em! Enjoy!

Here is a great potpourri recipe to make your own lavender potpourri! For more variations, click on the pic below to go to the source article.

From ecobites.com

 Lavender Potpourri

  • 1 cup lavender blossoms
  • 2 cups lemon verbena leaves
  • 2 teaspoons orris root powder (a natural preservative)
  • 1 cup pink rose petals
  • 1 cup white carnation petals
  • Dry petals in dehydrator or oven at 95-100 degrees F until crisp.
  • Lightly mix flowers in a bowl and sprinkle with orris root powder.

Then place in decorator jars ready for a beautiful gift made with love!

NOTE: It’s best to store in a cool dry place for about a week to allow the ingredients to come to full aroma.

This next recipe is for the beach lover 🙂

Be A Mermaid! Sea Salt Scrub

Adapted from a recipe by Annie Bond

  • 2 cups fine sea salt
  • 3 cups grapeseed oil or sweet almond oil
  • 20-30 drops any essential oil

Place salt in a wide-mouthed glass jar and cover with grapeseed, apricot, or almond oil. Scent with essential oil, stir in oil and essential oils until well blended. Decorate the jar and add these instructions to the label.

After washing as usual in the shower, turn the shower off or step out of the stream. Using either your hands or a spa mit, vigorously but gently massage the salt and oil mixture into the skin. Begin at the feet and work upward in a circular motion. Rinse and pat dry.

There you have two more quick and easy recipes to give as great spa gifts this Christmas!

As always, thanks so very much for reading and Have a Beautiful Day!
