I hope that you found yesterday’s inner beauty inspiration to be interesting and thought-provoking. Today my inner beauty article will be about another great woman who just about everyone on the planet has heard of.
Annelies Marie “Anne” Frank. For such a young lady to have such a beautiful inner spirit and insight is truly an inspiration. She truly did bloom where she was planted.
She received her now famous diary on her 13th birthday. How could she have known what a tremendous impact her private thoughts and dreams would have on the world!
Her personal diary entries have been transcribed from their native Dutch to just about every language on Earth and have inspired generations.
[Otto Frank, her father, was the only survivor of the family. He returned to Amsterdam after the war to find that Anne’s diary had been saved, and his efforts led to its publication in 1947. It was translated from its original Dutch and first published in English in 1952 as The Diary of a Young Girl.] < excerpt from Wikipedia.
Did you know that after it’s publication, there were many many accusations made against it? and many did not believe that these could be the writings of a teenager?
All the way up until 1993 there were allegations and various lawsuits over it’s very existence. More from Wikipedia below:
[In 1991, Holocaust deniers Robert Faurisson and Siegfried Verbeke produced a booklet titled The Diary of Anne Frank: A Critical Approach. They claimed that Otto Frank wrote the diary, based on assertions that the diary contained several contradictions, that hiding in the Achterhuis would have been impossible, and that the prose style and handwriting of Anne Frank were not those of a teenager.
The Anne Frank House in Amsterdam and the Anne Frank Funds in Basel instigated a civil law suit in December 1993, to prohibit the further distribution of The Diary of Anne Frank: A Critical Approach in the Netherlands. On 9 December 1998, the Amsterdam District Court ruled in favour of the claimants, forbade any further denial of the authenticity of the diary and unsolicited distribution of publications to that effect, and imposed a penalty of 25,000 guilders per infringement]
If you have not read The Diary of Anne Frank, I highly recommend it. Such fresh innocent and sometimes raw emotions laid bare. A truly beautiful heart, inspiration and depth of emotions can be found on every page. Truly a beautiful and sweet spirit who bloomed in adversity. Thanks so very much to the tireless efforts of her father, to get her diary published and fight for its integrity proving its pages true. Anne’s voice is not silenced but speaks volumes to the world to this very day and beyond.
Her beautiful qualities were, innocence, strength, love, limitless imagination and boundless dreams.
Have a Beautiful Day! and All The Best To You!!!
